Welcome BACK HOME

MOTHERLAND AFRICA WANTS YOU BACK HOME

nigeria arik air

Occasionally, there comes a time, we all need to push the "pause button" to ask the question "why are things the way they are?"

Welcome to the “Renaissance of Thought”

Not sure how you got here, but you are here anyway, and it is all good!!!

Welcome to the World Black Initiative Network -WBIN

Who are we?
We are a nonprofit organization focused on: “Solutions” that we need in the Global Black Family.

On a day like this, we think  it makes all the sense in the world to talk a little about who we are,  what we are/will be all about, and who you might become,  should you decide  to come “Walk the Walk”.

We know everyone has opinions and they are entitled to them, but opinions alone don’t produce results.
Work Does!

  • You talk the talk---- Planning
  • You walk the walk- To produce results

99% of us Talk the talk

1% Walk the walk

Not all Black people are poor.

Some are doing very well, indeed

The rest of us need to talk less and Walk more.

Moving on.

Let us talk a little bit more about the Mission of the World Black Initiative Network (WBIN)

  • The Black World has been called all kinds of names, by all kinds of people
  • The Black World has been placed in all kinds of places, by all kinds of people
  • The Black world has been viewed in all kinds of ways, by all kinds of people
  • Our stories have been written in all kinds of ways, by all kinds of people
  • Infact, our thinking process has been shaped in all kinds of ways, by all kinds of people

All in all, we have graciously and oftentimes grudgingly, accepted our situations in all kinds of ways.

But there comes a time when it is right to hit the “Pause” button to say

“Wait a Minute”

And ask a question

Do things have to be this way?

  • Why am I called all kinds of things by all kinds of people?
  • why am I called “Minority”?
  • why am I called "colored" when everyone else around me is colored?
  • why am I asking for "equality" when I know no one that wants to be equal to a black person?
  • why am I "struggling relentlessly" with no sign that it will be easer anytime soon if I worked harder?
  • why -why -why

These whys suddenly bring the runway-freight-train to a screeching halt.

Nothing makes sense anymore.

…and then confusion sets in

-and the new day is born

You change your “thoughts” and watch your life change period!!

Every problem has a solution

One never will find a solution if you do not understand the problem.

With all the opinions we (as black people) have one would think we know and understand what the problems are.

At WBIN, we think that what we as a community know, and express today in our opinions as the problems, are simply the “symptoms” of underlying problems that need to be identified.

Remember that every problem on earth has a solution, but you must first understand the problem to see the solution.

There lies the dilemma

We know that Physically and Mentally it will be hard to get us to where we are going.

On the other hand, it has been physically and mentally hard to get to where we are today as a people.

We all know that where we are as a people, is not where we want/ought to be.

So, let us get to work, changing our lives first by changing our thoughts.

When we change our thinking, we will then see the real problem

Because we are changed as individuals, our communities, would have changed to where we want it to be also because there is no community without people. We are the community and the community is us.

To achieve this objective, we all have to first of all, change ourselves, as we identify the problems and work on “active Solutions” to get us to where we ought to be.

You find by changing yourself one person at a time again, the community in general would find itself, because we are the community.

“Renaissance of Thought”
Change your thinking and your Community would change.

Moving forward in the podcast:

(1) we will identify specific symptoms and drill down further with your help to understand the underlying problems.

(2) we will thereafter come up with the solutions. Working Solutions for “active work”

That way we will understand the real problems and how we can individually and as a community go about fixing them.

Folks we will be having serious and hard family conversations ahead’

It is not going to be pretty

But that is what it is going to take to reclaim ourselves and start writing our own stories.

We are not here to tell what you want to hear

Rather in this platform, we will tell you what you ought to hear

At the end of each conversation though, you will have something to take with

You will have some substance to work with all by yourself

You will start rewriting your own stories, and collectively we will rewrite the family’s story going forward

  • No more asking for Equality
  • Shoot for excellence
  • No one wants to be equal to a black person, we all know that
  • Let us get going!!!
  • Folks we will be digging
  • We will keep asking the whys

There will be no rights or wrongs in this conversation

We are going to judge and be judged

We are about to do our dirty laundry in the open

If that is what it takes to rewrite our narrative,

So be it

We owe it to ourselves.

Welcome!!!
Tune In

We got lots of work to do

Please share the Podcast with friends and family so that they can help you help themselves.

Send them the call for action and watch them change our communities.

It will be amazing to see what we can do when we all know exactly what to do

Would be amazing.
